Terms of service
These terms explain the rules for using TodoBase. They are written for the current product: a personal planning app with accounts, todos, meeting notes, optional AI suggestions, and MCP access for trusted Codex sessions.

1. Provider and service
TodoBase is provided by BitBakkers through bitbakkers.nl. TodoBase helps you manage todos, planning days, meeting notes, tags, comments, optional AI todo suggestions, and MCP access tokens for trusted integrations.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use TodoBase. You must provide accurate account information, keep your password secure, and let BitBakkers know if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account or MCP tokens.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the todos, meeting notes, tags, comments, links, and other content you add to TodoBase. You give BitBakkers the limited permission needed to store, process, display, back up, and transmit that content so the service can work.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use TodoBase to break the law, infringe rights, upload malicious content, probe or attack systems, interfere with other users, reverse engineer restricted parts of the service, or overload the service with automated traffic. BitBakkers may restrict or suspend access where needed to protect the service, users, or legal compliance.
5. MCP access tokens and integrations
MCP tokens allow trusted tools such as Codex to act on your TodoBase workspace. Treat tokens like passwords, grant them only to tools you trust, and revoke tokens you no longer need. Actions performed through a valid token are treated as actions from your account.
6. AI suggestions
AI todo suggestions are optional. When you request suggestions, TodoBase may send the relevant meeting note content to an AI provider to generate draft todos. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, so review suggestions before using them.
7. Availability and changes
BitBakkers aims to keep TodoBase useful and available, but the service may change, pause, or be unavailable because of maintenance, incidents, provider outages, or product changes. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time.
8. Fees and consumer rights
TodoBase is currently offered without paid plans. If paid features are introduced, the price, renewal terms, cancellation options, and any applicable right of withdrawal will be shown before purchase. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory EU or national consumer law.
9. Privacy
The privacy statement explains how TodoBase handles personal data, including account data, workspace content, sessions, MCP token metadata, and optional AI suggestion data.
10. Liability
TodoBase is provided with reasonable care. To the extent allowed by law, BitBakkers is not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or damage caused by your misuse of the service, third-party services, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Ending use
You may stop using TodoBase at any time. BitBakkers may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, create security risk, or use the service unlawfully. Data may be deleted or retained as described in the privacy statement and as required by law.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Dutch law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence. For questions, use the contact details published at bitbakkers.nl.
13. Updates to these terms
BitBakkers may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a new last-updated date.
